Is The Next Generation More Tech Savvy Than Us

Humans have spent decades trying to build the robots, but somehow, we still haven’t succeeded in building the perfect robot. Over the years, we have improved the technique of building robots by heaps and bounds, and that’s why it makes so much sense in introducing robotics for kids: so that we can pass on the knowledge we have already derived to the next generation and maybe, come closer to succeeding in our endeavour.

Learning robotics is intensive: one needs to learn Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer, Technology, and Architecture & Design. And this is just the tip of the iceberg. The important trick here, like every other great invention of the past, is to not only understand how these things work individually, but also understand how they can be used together in coordination to make the perfect product.

These days, early childhood education for kids involves understanding a huge variety of things. Increasing speciality in various fields raises the bar of the minimum things that one must have knowledge about. Hence, things like coding, robotics, foreign languages, STEM education, etc are introduced to kids early on. The world is changing rapidly and every new generation is going to enter an exceedingly competitive market.

Here’s how most robotics classes work kids are taught to build simple models like that of a car and introduced to basic concepts like distance, speed and direction in a fun manner. As their age progresses, the level of difficulty of the type of models that they make also increases. The idea is to get them to start thinking about technology in the right way. They are taught things as seemingly random but important as how a fan works. Understanding the individual bits and pieces of these things helps them to together bring these things and try to make a model of their own.

Innovative solutions is the distinguishing factor for tomorrow. We have all encompassed a certain amount of knowledge, etc. But to use that knowledge in the best way possible is the real challenge. It takes a smart, analytical mind with a solution-oriented thinking pattern to come up with something that is truly unique and creative, and that genuinely solves a problem.

Research proves that when kids see the application of technology, they tend to be able to remember how it works throughout their lives. These courses, of course, being relatively new, have a lot of moving pieces and are improving every single year. Teaching these courses needs special resources and special teaching staff that understands these things and knows how to adapt it for kids. Hence, it comes at a heavy cost. But given how essential it is for the next generation to know these things, the cost is totally justified and hence, parents are happy to pay for these courses. So, have you signed up your child for a robotics class so far?

Why Tech Products Are The Next Big Thing

Teaching kids to code has picked up in the last 5 years globally. While most countries don’t have coding as an essential subject in school, there are a lot of online and offline options out there for kids to learn coding.

One of the principal reasons why programming is so important for kids is that today, a huge portion of the products we have are tech-based products. This means that to be able to start your own company, it is important to learn how code works and how you can create a good tech product.

This, of course, stems from the fact that student entrepreneurs are becoming more and more common. Kids are full of ideas and imagination: and this gives them an edge over adults when it comes to coming up with innovative solutions. Their thinking is not as limited as an adult’s is, and hence, quite often, they come up with surprisingly creative ideas that solve relevant problems in the society.

Young entrepreneurs program are becoming very popular. Parents go to any extent to ensure that their kids can participate in them and have all the resources to do so. Kids who code have a strong advantage over those kidpreneurs who don’t, because they have a very different way of looking at things. They are more creative, understand the semantics of product building, and often come up with more feasible solutions to problems even when compared to adults.

At the end of the day, a business is a either a product or a service: and kids don’t usually have the experience to provide a service that is rare enough in the market to make a profitable business. Hence, when it comes to products, in our age, tech products are the more popular thing. Kids who code are kids who are going to rule. Period.

Programming for Kids Are You Confused?

The words computer programming or coding usually form an image of a person wearing huge spectacles, hitting the keys on the keyboard fiercely, writing long codes on black screen in our minds. This image never has a child in the vicinity, and this is why computer programming for kids might cause a little confusion. However, as much as a tricky business it seems, it is extremely useful as well as attainable.

Programming for kids has been gaining grounds recently, with the advent of technology. Every parent wants to prep their child at an early stage for a world that’s completely computerized. There’s a high demand of coders and programmers because computers have insidiously made their way into every facet of our lives. Taking into account all these advancements, computer courses are being introduced for kids at an early stage.

These courses start with making computers familiar to kids. It involves explaining each part of the system, and its functions to form a strong base for the kids so that the unfamiliarity goes away. Next comes introducing them to basic softwares such as MS-Office, or Paint etc and functions to open or close a window, print a document, etc  to equip them with the basic knowledge so that they can operate computers. Next comes programming languages. Computer coding for kids might seem a rather tricky thing, for to learn a programming language, a new language Afterall, isn’t an easy job. In an attempt to make this exercise children-friendly, new coding apps have been developed to ensure that children sustain their interest in coding. Along with this, many coding kits have also been designed to make this entire process easier for kids.

Computer courses, especially programming for kids is so important because it not just prepares them for the world today, but also develops problem solving capabilities, and a logical approach to problem in them. It sharpens their grey cells, and also act instrumental in increasing their IQ.
