The words computer programming or
coding usually form an image of a person wearing huge spectacles, hitting the
keys on the keyboard fiercely, writing long codes on black screen in our minds.
This image never has a child in the vicinity, and this is why computer programming for kids might cause
a little confusion. However, as much as a tricky business it seems, it is
extremely useful as well as attainable.

grounds recently, with the advent of technology. Every parent wants to prep
their child at an early stage for a world that’s completely computerized.
There’s a high demand of coders and programmers because computers have
insidiously made their way into every facet of our lives. Taking into account
all these advancements, computer courses are being introduced for kids at an
early stage.
These courses start with making
computers familiar to kids. It involves explaining each part of the system, and
its functions to form a strong base for the kids so that the unfamiliarity goes
away. Next comes introducing them to basic softwares such as MS-Office, or
Paint etc and functions to open or close a window, print a document, etc to equip them with the basic knowledge so
that they can operate computers. Next comes programming languages. Computer coding for kids might seem a
rather tricky thing, for to learn a programming language, a new language Afterall,
isn’t an easy job. In an attempt to make this exercise children-friendly, new
coding apps have been developed to ensure that children sustain their interest
in coding. Along with this, many coding kits have also been designed to make
this entire process easier for kids.
