Teaching kids to code
has picked up in the last 5 years globally. While most countries don’t have
coding as an essential subject in school, there are a lot of online and offline
options out there for kids to learn coding.
One of the
principal reasons why programming is so important for kids is that today, a
huge portion of the products we have are tech-based products. This means that
to be able to start your own company, it is important to learn how code works
and how you can create a good tech product.
This, of course,
stems from the fact that student entrepreneurs
are becoming more and more common. Kids are full of ideas and imagination: and
this gives them an edge over adults when it comes to coming up with innovative
solutions. Their thinking is not as limited as an adult’s is, and hence, quite
often, they come up with surprisingly creative ideas that solve relevant
problems in the society.
Young entrepreneurs program
are becoming very popular. Parents go to any extent to ensure that their kids
can participate in them and have all the resources to do so. Kids who code have
a strong advantage over those kidpreneurs who don’t, because they have a very different
way of looking at things. They are more creative, understand the semantics of
product building, and often come up with more feasible solutions to problems
even when compared to adults.
At the end of the
day, a business is a either a product or a service: and kids don’t usually have
the experience to provide a service that is rare enough in the market to make a
profitable business. Hence, when it comes to products, in our age, tech
products are the more popular thing. Kids who code are kids who are going to
rule. Period.
